Ms. KRISTA

Krista was enrolled as a student in the Learning Center for 12 years, from first

grade all the way to her graduation in 2025. She now feels grateful for the opportunity

to teach at the same school she was taught in. She loves teaching high school history,

computer science, and life skills, as she is able to show God’s hand and power all

throughout history and in every part of life. She also serves as the assistant coach for

the school’s volleyball team.

Krista faithfully attends Cedar Pointe Baptist Church with her family in Lebanon.

After years of planning to go into the medical field, she felt God call her to education

after serving as a substitute at the Learning Center. She is currently enrolled at

Southwest Virginia Community College and plans to transfer to Liberty University to

obtain her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education-Middle Grade Mathematics. She is

excited to see what God has in store for her life and the school year ahead!
