Mrs. Susan

Susan graduated from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She has three children who are graduates of The Learning Center and originally became involved at the school in 2011 when her children enrolled as students. After working in various customer service, bookkeeping, and banking positions, she was called to begin her teaching career in 2019. Susan enjoys serving The Learning Center by teaching math, Latin, and personal finance to our high school students. She is passionate about TLC and its mission to provide a quality, Christ-centered education. In addition to a love of Christ, she hopes to instill a love of learning in her students.  

Susan and her family attend Morning Star Full Gospel Church in Castlewood, Virginia, where she serves alongside her husband in the church’s teen and young adult ministries. Her favorite verse is Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
